This blog is about photography, how light and the right opportunity can work together to achive great photographic results. Photography is very personal but can be very moving. 

 If you want to see some of my photos, go to my web site. (It is very basic). You will find a link there to more photos on a photo-service site. some pretty good stuff. 

I shoot with Nikon digital gear and process photos with a Mac using Photoshop CS3. I teach photoshop at Clark University in Worcester, MA, and it is a pleasure passing along not only the techniques, but insight into how to create a good image to start with.

    The butterfly photograph is just beautiful, quite more interesting than the horse image. However, I like the bright and shadow contrast on each side of the horse...I am a huge fan of film noir...a black and white image of the horse would be more powerful I believe...
